Deepcool EK720: thermal pads in several sizes available for 4 to 25 euros

from Oliver Jaeger
The Chinese hardware manufacturer Deepcool is launching EK720 thermal pads, which are said to be characterized by their comparatively high thermal conductivity and their versatility. The pads are available for specific height differences in thicknesses of 0.5 to 2 millimeters

With new thermal pads, manufacturer Deepcool from China wants to ensure optimal heat dissipation between computer chips and heat sinks. For this purpose, Deepcool is now launching the EK720 thermal pads, which are available in sizes XS, L and XL. The thermal pads are available in thicknesses of 0.5 to 2 mm so that differences in height are adequately covered.

In various sizes and thicknesses with a wide range of uses

According to standardized tests, the thermal conductivity of the EK720 pads is 6 W/mK, while the temperature range in which the pads work extends from minus 40 °C to 200 °C. They can also be used in a variety of ways and are intended to improve the thermal performance of chip components, for example in laptops, on graphics cards or in game consoles. Deepcool speaks of high-quality material for its thermal pads, which is very durable and malleable to fill all cavities and gaps between the components and thus ensure a precise connection.

In addition, due to the lack of electrical conductivity, safe use in the vicinity of electronic components is guaranteed; So nothing stands in the way of installation on printed circuit boards with sensitive circuits. Large-size thermal pads come in 0.5, 1, 1.5, and 2mm thicknesses, as do XL-size EK720 pads. Size XS thermal pads are only available in 1 and 1.5mm thicknesses. The price range of the EK720 thermal pads is from 4 to 25 euros. At mail order companies like alternates or Amazon, Deepcool’s new products can already be ordered.
