German charts: FIFA 23 with the most successful game launch of the year

The official German games charts, determined by GfK Entertainment, show a clear winner: FIFA 23.

FIFA has been around for almost three decades – but EA’s simulation series is far from showing signs of age. On the contrary: The latest part, FIFA 23, is celebrating the most successful game launch in 2022 in Germany and is responsible for the second strongest sales week of the year overall.

In addition, the kickers dribble to the top of five hit lists, namely in the official German PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch charts, determined by GfK Entertainment.

Other new releases are having a hard time this week, but with Valkyrie Elysium there is at least a second title knocking on the charts gate. Positions three (PS5) and eight (PS4) are available for the role-playing adventure. In the PC ranking, Farming Simulator 22 pushed Construction Simulator into second place, while Pokémon Ultramond continued to lead the 3DS evaluation.
