Trinity Team, the developers behind the stunning $500,000 crowdfunding success Slaps And Beans, and global publisher 101XP are pleased to announce the release date of The Darkest Tales, their highly anticipated nightmarish action-adventure title , which will be released on October 13, 2022 on Steam, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, GOG and 101XP.

With Halloween just around the corner, mark your calendars for the release date and brace yourself for some deadly cuteness because The Darkest Tales is available now in Wishlist on Steam and available for pre-order today on 101XP.

In The Darkest Tales, players will follow the adventures of Teddy, a grumpy (yet still lovable) old bear brought to life to save his owner Alicia, and Lighty, a talkative glowball fairy who embarks on a journey through twisted fairy tale levels populated by nightmarish enemies and thrilling adventures.

Encounter the horrors of a dark and twisted world, explore beautiful yet hostile lands, meet once-friendly childhood fairy tale characters turned evil: a carnivorous Little Red Riding Hood and a monstrous Pinocchio, to name just two, and get ready for a challenging climb up the mighty beanstalk. Survive where everyone else has failed by rescuing Teddy’s old owner, Alicia, and bringing peace back to her crib.

Can Teddy and Lighty fend off Alicia’s demonic dreams, or will Teddy’s stitches unravel and Lighty’s hopes fizzle out in the dark?
