To honor the 30-year history of Mortal Kombat, a new video has been released showcasing the franchise’s cultural prominence across three decades of entertainment, from video games to movies to animation. The commemorative video, which brings together moments from the original game of Mortal Kombat (1992) until Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate (2020) and since the first live action film of Mortal Kombat (1995) to the reimagined film of Mortal Kombat (2021), spans 30 years of bone-crushing content, along with a visual take on legendary fighters from Mortal Kombat and its various iterations from past to present, such as Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Kitana, Mileena, Jackson “Jax” Briggs, Baraka, and Shang Tsung. In addition, new illustrations have been unveiled today to celebrate the Mortal Kombat 30th Anniversaryhighlighting some of the game modes, story moments, characters and finishing moves from the game’s story, all represented in the form of the iconic dragon logo.

As part of the anniversary, Klassic Movie Raiden is coming to Mortal Kombat Mobile starting October 7 and running through October 11, featuring the likeness and voice of actor Christopher Lambert from the 1995 film. Players will also be able to log into the mobile game every day from October 7 to 14 to get free anniversary gifts and enjoy a series of new content in the game.

In addition, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blindthe third installment in the animated film series, for Digital October 9 and 4K Ultra HD™ Combo Pack and Blu-ray™ October 11.
