Pokémon GO: Spotlight hour everyone is looking forward to tomorrow

Spotlight Hour with Alpollo starts tomorrow, October 11th, in Pokémon GO. For many trainers it is a highlight in October, because the mini-event is really worth it. Here is a summary of why you should take part.

What is this event? A Spotlight Hour event runs every Tuesday night in Pokémon GO. For 60 minutes, the focus is on a Pokémon that spawns very frequently during this time. Niantic usually determines at the beginning of the month which Pokémon you can meet at the spotlight hours of the respective month.

These events are accompanied by a bonus. On October 11th, the focus will be on the Pokémon Alpollo and it will bring a bonus that gives you double Stardust. We show you in the overview what makes the event so good this time.

Spotlight Hour on October 11th – Launch, Bonuses, Shiny

When does it start? The limelight hour begins Tuesday as usual at 6:00 p.m. German time. She is then active with her bonuses until 7:00 p.m. German time.

What bonuses are there? You get double Stardust for catching Pokémon. You will also meet large numbers of Alpollo in the wilderness. If you ignite a smoke, it also primarily attracts Alpollo.

Does Shiny Alpollo exist? No, you cannot catch the evolution as Shiny in the wild. However, Shiny Nebulak is available in the game. If you find one, you can evolve it into Shiny Alpollo and Shiny Gengar.

Why is the spotlight hour so good this time? In the last few hours of the spotlight, there were often monsters that weren’t really worth it. They were useless as attackers in PvP or PvE. Alpollo is finally changing that. Because its development Gengar is a strong attacker. With a Dark Claw or Lick moveset paired with Spook Ball, it’s really powerful and one of the best attackers in Pokémon GO.

This makes it useful in raids and also in trainer battles.

There are also many XL candies that you can secure for the event. From trainer level 31 you are guaranteed to receive one XL candy per catch of an evolution.

The free further developments are also exciting. If you trade Alpollo with a friend, you can evolve the traded Alpollo into Gengar for free. On October 25th, there will be a Spotlight Hour that will give you double the XP for evolving Pokémon. That harmonizes with each other.

Stardust is also important. If you also use a star piece, you will receive 900 stardust per catch.
