Wonder Woman 3: Director finally gives update on the film

as wonder woman Released in theaters in 2017, the film was widely hailed as a well-done comic book adaptation that was a whole lot better than other productions from the Warner Bros. However, the sequel was panned again, despite initially receiving overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics. Wonder Woman 1984 was a massive tonal deviation compared to its predecessor and just didn’t work for many fans. Nevertheless, Warner Bros. Discovery does not give up: Sticking to the success of the first part, a third part commissionedwhich director Patty Jenkins says is slowly but surely taking shape.

Wonder Woman 3 still in the works

Wonder Woman 3 was first announced in 2019 and rumors have it that this third installment will finally take place in the present and bring Diana Prince to the here and now. At the Matera Film Festival shared director Patty Jenkins with fans on the current state of affairs on the sequel:

“I was just writing the final scene for Wonder Woman 3 last week and I was like, ‘I’m excited to see how it goes'”she said of the future of the franchise. “She [Warner Bros. Discovery] asked us to think about how to do more and it happens randomly but you never know. I have many other films that I’m looking forward to as well.”

Jenkins was supposed to do the Star Wars movie before Wonder Woman 3 Rogue Squadron shoot, but it’s obvious the film won’t be made with her at the helm again. According to previous reports, production of this Star Wars film has been halted due to Discord between Jenkins and Lucasfilm postponed.
