Not everything lasts forever on PS Plus. In October, some games will disappear from Sony’s extra and premium subscriptions. You should still enjoy these games.

San Mateo, California – All things have to pass. Just as the trees are getting bare outside, PS Plus has to give up a bit of what it has to offer. October is still in full swing and the Essential subscription monthly games are still fresh, but PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium will soon be seeing a few games disappear from the lineup. Here we show you which games you should play as soon as possible before they disappear from the game library for PS4 and PS5.

PS Plus: Loss of Extra and Premium – Western classic says goodbye

These games are going away soon: Western fans need to be extra strong now. As early as September 2022, Sony bowled out the last major release from Rockstar Games, namely Red Dead Redemption 2. It’s a shame that the outlaw epic was hardly available for more than two months. This horror adventure from Frictional Games is considered one of the best titles of the last few years by fans of the genre, so if you haven’t already, you should. However, if you secured SOMA a few years ago as part of the monthly free games from PS Plus, you will still be able to play the title for free.
