Update 15.0.0 for Nintendo Switch improves performance of the Pro Controller

A new system update has been released for Nintendo Switch. Version 15.0.0 is available for download now and appears to be a relatively minor update.

According to the official Nintendo patch notes, the update improves the “system stability”changes the location of the Bluetooth audio menu, and allows players to take screenshots while in the Nintendo Switch Online app.

Dataminer OatmealDome investigated further and found that version 15.0.0 also updates the Pro Controller’s Bluetooth connection firmware.

The official patch notes from Nintendo are as follows:

  • The location of the Bluetooth audio menu within the system settings has been moved.
  • Screenshots can be taken using the capture button while in the Nintendo Switch Online app found in the Nintendo Switch HOME Menu.
  • Video capture is not supported.
    General system stability improvements to improve user experience.

Additional OatmealDome findings include:
