Cyberpunk 2077: Mod brings cool Edgerunners feature into play

In Cyberpunk 2077, you can even get cyberpsychosis thanks to a PC mod that brings the Risk Reward system from the popular Edgerunners anime adaptation into play.

Modification comes from Nexus Mods user DJ_Kovrik, who unceremoniously introduces a humanity status in Cyberpunk 2077. The mechanic originally came from the cyberpunk tabletop roleplaying game, but it wasn’t really popular until the Edgerunners anime.

Cyberpunk 2077: This is how you get cyberpsychosis

Once you have installed the mod for Cyberpunk 2077, you should quickly notice the influence of a humanity value. This decreases as you install more cyberware, kill more people, or use Berserker mode or the Sandevistan system from Edgerunners. And once your humanity score drops to zero, you become a cyberpsycho.

The effects of losing your humanity are far-reaching. While medium humanity causes only a few minor visual disturbances and other side effects, full-blown cyberpsychosis can result in severe visual disturbances intended to mirror the hallucinations seen in Edgerunners.

But positive side effects are not denied to us either. For example, we can benefit from increased movement speed and a stronger armor value. In addition, our health regenerates faster when we suffer from cyberpsychosis. Similar to the series, at the latest when we have completed our transformation into a cyberpsycho, the police will also be involved. So-called neuroblockers and the choice of the right cyberware, but also a hat of sleep help us to curb the madness a bit.

Edgerunners series ensures a second spring

A few weeks ago we reported that both the Edgerunners anime and the last major update Cyberpunk 2077 could bring a second spring after it suffered from its not unproblematic start for a long time.
