Xbox Game Pass: Lost Eidolons RPG could be available as a subscription

Activision Blizzard: Phil Spencer pleased with acquisition progress

The developers of the upcoming role-playing game Lost Eidolons would like to see their game as part of the Xbox Game Pass subscription.

The turn-based tactical RPG Lost Eidolons is coming to PC on October 13th. A version for Xbox Series X|S will follow in 2023. The originally planned Xbox One version, however, was discontinued some time ago due to optimization problems, as the developers once again via Twitter confirmed:

“We are working hard on the Xbox version – but we will only release for series S and X! We had to abandon the Xbox One version because it was too difficult to optimize the game to provide the best gaming experience.”

As it stands, however, there is hope for a Game Pass release of the role-playing game. When a user objected that if Lost Eidolons joins Game Pass, owners of an Xbox One console would be able to play it via xCloud, the developers replied that this possibility exists and that they would like to be part of Game Pass:

“That’s correct. We’d love to be part of Game Pass, but we’ll see.”
