New PS5 system update only delivers more system performance on the surface, but there’s more to it

After last week’s update, there is now another new system update for the PlayStation 5.

The new version 22.02-06.02.00 is almost 1 GB in size and does exactly what you expect from it.

Officially, Sony says the update again: “This system software update improves system performance.”

The increased frequency of updates recently could be an indication that the company is working intensively to combat a PS5 jailbreak.

More than just system performance

In addition to this superficially “improved system performance”, there are also changes to the user interface.

For example, the way activity cards are presented in the game has changed. You can now choose between single and multiplayer activities and then be shown what you can do.

There are also changes to the trophies. If you select the trophies icon, you can see all available trophies in the game, pin them or even display them on your screen while playing. The changes will make everything a little easier and faster.
