Gotham Knights Executive Producer Fleur “flaoua” Marty has officially announced that the game will not receive a performance mode and will only run at 30 frames per second (fps) on consoles. She justifies this flaw with the co-op mode available for the whole game:

I know many of you are wondering if there will be a performance mode for Gotham Knights on consoles. Because of the features we have in our game, like a totally untethered co-op experience in our highly detailed open world, lowering the resolution to get higher fps is not that easy. Because of this, our game has no option to toggle between performance and quality and will run at 30 fps on consoles.

Gotham Knights will be released on October 21st, 2022 for Xbox Series, PS5 and PC.
