Twitch: Kai Cenat storms the Twitch throne with over 103,000 subscribers
YouTuber Kai Cenat continues his rise on Twitch and is finally the most subscribed streamer on the live streaming platform. Twitch will be happy – especially with a view to the end of the 70/30 split from the middle of next year.
Kai Cenat continues his success story on Twitch and is now the streamer with the most subscribers on the live streaming platform. With a good 103,000 subscribers, he is by far the leading content creator in this segment. The record for the most subscriptions on Twitch was previously held by Casimito, who was allowed to broadcast a football game live on his channel through a special Amazon deal and stuff like that reached over 70,000 subscribers overnight. This event took place four weeks ago and the unusual amount of new subscribers has of course mostly expired their subscription.
With this, Kai Cenat recently jumped to the top of most twitch subs and will probably stay there for more than just a month compared to Casimito. The 21-year-old’s subscription numbers have only started to skyrocket in the last two months. At the end of August, Kai Cenat was still in 13th place Twitch streamer with the most subscribers. The rise is also due to the immense amount of subscriptions given away.

Of course, such a rocket-like ascent only works with a large number of subscriptions given away. More than 47,000 subscriptions have now been given away on Kai Cenat’s channel. For comparison: the second and third place winners received a good 3,700 and 5,200 subs respectively. But even if you subtracted all the subscriptions that were given away, Kai Cenat would still be in the top 5.
He managed to bring his huge YouTube community over to Twitch and of course also had a few very generous subscribers. The Twich streamer learned of the assumption of the Twitch throne on BruceDropEmOff livestream. 103,000 subscribers are the equivalent of a good $250,000 that the Twitch streamer earns every month.
Twitch will be particularly pleased. through the Capping the 70/30 split Kai Cenat will lose 20 percent of this revenue from mid-2023. All income from subscriptions that exceed $100,000 will then no longer be split 70/30 (in favor of the streamer), but only 50/50. Kai Cenat will earn approximately $2.5 million less per year as a result of this change – assuming he can keep that massive number of Twitch subscribers by then.
