Wyrmwood is known among gamers for particularly high-quality furniture and the prices are correspondingly high. The latest model is a modular gaming table for 3000 euros.

Furniture is now part of a gamer’s workplace. In addition to chairs and sufficient lighting, there are also tables. Well-known companies such as Ikea develop furniture for gamers.

Now the Wyrmwood company has introduced a new gaming table. You have to pay at least 3000 euros for it.

What is that table? The model is called the Modular Gaming Table and was successfully funded on Kickstarter with almost 9 million US dollars.

Since Tuesday, October 18, 2022, you can use the table order on Kickstarter. The device actually costs “only” 1,750 euros, but you have to “buy in” in the queue. In order to be part of the first wave of furniture, you have to be willing to pay 3000 euros.

The high price does not seem to deter gamers from supporting or buying it. Because currently (as of October 19) the table has 736 supporters. The table is to be shipped from May 2023.

What can the gaming table do? The Modular Desk is available in Standard (152.4 x 76.2 cm) and XL (198.12″ x 91.44 cm”) sizes, both in fixed height and as a motorized sit/stand desk with integrated storage, which can store three different heights. Furthermore belong to the accessories

  • customizable storage options
  • magnetic attachments for cups, mugs, headphones and game controllers.
