One Piece: Blackbeard’s crew reveals many new Devil Fruit powers in battle

Even Luffy is amazed when it comes to the Blackbeard crew’s new devil fruit powers.

One Piece is moving towards the grand finale of the manga in seven league boots. And not just the end of the current story arc, but the finale of the entire One Piece story. In the course of this, Monkey D. Luffy and his allies Law and Kid sail towards the last fabled island. However, Law’s tour group is attacked by the nasty pirate boss Blackbeard. And they also have some completely new devil fruits in their luggage.

Blackbeard’s crew has new Devil Fruit powers and changes Law’s gender

Blackbeard and his crew lurk along one of three possible routes. The calculation works out and in fact Law’s ship falls into his trap. Meanwhile Luffy and Co. have already reached the first island and get it with Dr. to do vegapunk.

Chapter 1063 of the One Piece manga shows us the encounter between Law’s and Blackbeard’s crew. A fierce fight ensues between the two, and it turns out that the entire crew of Blackbeard’s ship appears to have new Devil Fruit powers.

There would be for example Doc-Q who has the skills of the sick sick fruit owns. He can actually cause diseases that hinder opponents. In this very questionable case, however, the “disease” triggered is Law’s gender change and he becomes a woman. What that has to do with an illness is more than questionable. At least Law can form “antibodies” against this “disease” thanks to his powerful hakis and quickly turn back again.

But that was not all:

• Van Auger possesses the power of Warp Warp Fruit and can teleport.
• Burgess has the ability of Strong-Strong fruithe is accordingly very strong.
• Even Doc-Q’s horse, Stronger, can thanks to the Horse-Horse Frucht Mythical Type, Model Pegasus fly now.

All just stolen? It seems that the pirates simply stole all of the Devil Fruit powers. At least that was already hinted at in advance: Blackbeard has already explicitly tried to wrest her Teufelskraft power from Boa Hancock (via: Comicbook.com).
