Gotham Knights: Sometimes only 25 fps on consoles – News

Gotham Knights (in the current GG test) will be released on October 21st and has already been tested by numerous magazines and sites. The specialists from DigitalFoundry looked at the technical side of the game and found some anomalies, especially with the well-known 30 fps problem on consoles.

As you can see in the video, the program doesn’t always manage to keep the 30 fps stable, but often drops down to 25 fps. In a scene at the train station, the Xbox Series X only shows 20 fps. The low frame rate can be noisy DigitalFoundry not explain by the graphic quality, often even dated seven years old Batman – Arkham Knight (in the GG test 9.0) is trumped.

At least the mirroring and reflections in the game are successful, but use up too much computing power. The lack of a sense of speed on the bike rides is due to the city design and not to technical events, which is clearly visible in the video.
