New World Halloween 2022 – Night Veil Event Guide

The Halloween Event 2022 is currently running in New World. In this guide we will tell you everything about the content, quests and rewards related to Halloween.

When is the event running? Halloween was released on October 18th along with the new update Brimstone Sands. It runs until November 1st.

What’s in the event? The core of the event is a world boss, which you best defeat with 10 or more players. There are also tokens and rewards again.

Baalphazus and his quest

How do I start the event? You must first enter one of the settlements in New World, which can also be conquered by players. There, an NPC is waiting for you next to a large witch’s cauldron. This NPC has both the event quest “Baalphazu’s Fall” and the event shop where you can get the rewards.

What do I have to do for the quest? You must defeat Baalphazus. This is a world boss with just over 23 million lives. Therefore, you should attack him in a group.

The boss can stand in the following six areas:

• evenness
• Edenhain
• Klagental
• light wood
• deep canyon
• Webermoor

What do you have to watch out for with the boss? The important thing is to break the boss’s stamina bar. To do this, you must defeat the pumpkin creatures around him. These then drop a head that you can throw at the boss.

The boss himself also has a pull to pull everyone in the arena towards him. The entire ground turns green shortly before.

He also spawns green rings that you should avoid or block. These spawn outside and migrate to him inside.

How do you get the tokens and ranks? The Halloween event only has two tiers of rewards. You reach the second stage as soon as you have defeated Baalphazus once. You get the tokens as a reward for killing the boss again.

What rewards are there? At Rank 1, you get schemes for special Halloween skins:

As you rank up, you can earn more schemes, but this time with an item guaranteed to be legendary at 600 armor. There is also a new emote and armor skins.
