Pokémon GO: Spotlight Hour Today With Shuppet And Without Zorua - All About The Bonuses And Shinys

Pokémon GO starts today, October 25th, with Shuppet. Unfortunately, there are no special spawns with Zorua. We’ll show you everything about the start, shinys and spawns.

What is this event? Spotlight Hour kicks off every Tuesday night in Pokémon GO. A Pokémon selected by Niantic is then in focus for an hour. The selection changes every week.

There was supposed to be a surprise event with Zorua today – but that was cancelled. Here is an overview of everything that awaits you at today’s spotlight hour with Shuppet.

Spotlight Hour on October 25th – Launch, Bonuses, Shiny

When does it start? The event will start at the usual time at 18:00 and will then be active for one hour. The event was scheduled to end at 7:00 p.m.

What bonuses are there? During the event period you will find Shuppet almost everywhere in the wilderness. If you ignite a smoke, it also attracts the event Pokémon.

In addition, you get double the amount of experience points when you develop Pokémon.

As an added bonus, Zorua was originally scheduled to appear during Spotlight Hour – but that was cancelled. A bug caused Niantic to completely disable spawns.

Does Shiny Shuppet exist? Yes, you can catch Shiny Shuppet in Pokémon GO and hit lucky one at Spotlight Hour today.

Is today’s spotlight worth it? The event would have been 100% worth it if the release of the new Zorua had worked. But unfortunately you have to do without it and “only” have the limelight hour with Shuppet.

Shuppet himself is not strong as an attacker in raids or in PvP. His further development Banette, on the other hand, is quite popular in the Superliga in trainer battles and plays in the lower midfield. As a raid attacker, Banette is also in midfield.

Banette also has the ability to Mega Evolve. Then it becomes a really strong raid attacker, but you need Mega Energy to evolve a Mega Banette. You get them again from the corresponding raids. You can find the best counters against Mega Banette here.
