Sony has apparently removed the expiration dates on its PlayStation Plus games

Sony is said to have quietly removed the expiry dates of the titles in PlayStation Plus. So you can no longer see exactly when games will be removed from the program. Previously, the company gave an exact date when a game will leave the service.

Luckily you can’t spoil your stomach with it

Still, Sony won’t leave you completely in the dark, as games that are on their way out of service will still be featured in a small list in the catalog titled “Last Chance to Play”.

This last chances tab is currently showing Rez Infinite – no one knows how long you have left to play. An hour, a day, a week? A risk that exists due to the omission of the date and that PS Plus subscribers now have to face.

Sony also does not mention the expiry dates of the PS Plus games in the blog posts, writes pushsquare in a recent article. Xbox, on the other hand, is transparent about this topic and gives you the exact date for each game when the title leaves the service.

So far, Sony has not commented on this issue. How do you feel about that? Is it important to you to state a final date or is it enough for you to sort the corresponding titles into the “Last Chance to Play” category?
