Fallout: The first picture of the Amazon series looks very familiar to us
Fallout is filmed. That has been a fact for a long time and we have known for a while that the adaptation is an Amazon Prime Video series. Some of the contributors are also already known, but that’s about it. Surprisingly, there is already a first picture that fuels anticipation for the series. The scene sounds very familiar to us and probably many others, let’s take a closer look.
Fallout is becoming an Amazon series and here is the first picture
Fallout series with 1st picture: Actually, there isn’t much to see yet and it’s ‘just’ a birthday wish for the 25th anniversary of the series. But of course the first picture of the Fallout series still has it all.

What to see Apparently we are looking into the blazing brightness of a freshly opened Vault 33 door. In the middle is a person who is probably just leaving the bunker. Apparently she’s wearing a Pip-Boy on her arm.
There is a human lying to the left of the exit. This could indicate that there were fatalities in this endeavor and that the first person was prevented by the second from opening the gate in vain.
In the foreground of the picture we see three other people looking towards the exit. Of course, it remains unclear whether they also want to leave the vault or not. The person on the far left may be holding their hands in front of their face in astonishment.
Here’s what we already know about Amazon’s Fallout series
Not too much: We don’t currently know a rough plot of the series, nor do we know when it will be finished and aired. All we know is that it’s aiming for a serious tone, but also a dash of humor, and what’s more, Bethesda’s initial announcement called for “B-movie nuclear fantasies.”
This looks promising: In the meantime, some of those involved have already been determined. The Fallout series comes from the people who started the Westworld series, namely Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy of Kilter Films.
It has also been announced that Walton Goggins (Django Unchained, The Hateful Eight) will be playing a radioactive ghoul.
If you want to roam through the wasteland again in the games beforehand: Fallout 3 in the Game of the Year Edition is currently available free of charge on the Epic Games Store, until tomorrow. Fallout 4 is also getting a free PS5 and Xbox Series S/X upgrade next year.
How do you like the first picture? What are your hopes for Amazon’s Fallout series?
