Piotr Babeno, President of Bloober Team, revealed interesting details about the development of Resident Evil 2 Remake.

It can’t be much longer

During Konamist’s last stream, we were able to learn that the remake of Silent Hill 2 has been in development since 2019. So Bloober Team has been working on it for three years. The game is said to be in the final stages of development. Here Bloobler Team will give the remake the finishing touches.


But even if the remake doesn’t seem to need much time to be completed, the final release date ultimately depends on Konami, Babeno emphasized. According to his statement, the publisher should soon be in touch with new information.

Another interesting fact is that Konami completely covered the budget for Silent Hill 2 Remake. The team has already received initial funding for reaching certain milestones. Bloober Team expects to sell “at least several million units”.

The remake of Silent Hill 2 will be released for PC and PlayStation 5 on an undisclosed date.
