Phenomenon Remains: Each of the 14 main chapters also has a short counterpart called the Phenomenon Remnant. To unlock them, you must collect the three blood tears of Umbra scattered throughout each chapter in the form of a cat, a raven, and a toad. This gives you access to an optional challenge.

What is the playing time of Bayonetta 3?

The playing time of the individual chapters of Bayonetta 3 varies greatly. While some of the sub-chapters are only about 10 minutes long, the prologue is already more than an hour long. On average, the main chapters will take you around 30 to 45 minutes, depending on how much you explore. This results in a Bayonetta 3 Playing time from 13 to 15 hours. After the end of the story you also unlock the “witch trials”, which consist of a series of challenging fights in a row.
