House of the Dragon Season 2: Launch date announced!

Last week is the first season of House of the Dragon ended with an exciting finale. Of course, HBO will have more seasons on the way. However, fans now need something patience to have. It will be some time before we see the next chapter of Targaryen. In an interview, Casey Bloys (Chief Content Officer at HBO Max) already presented the period when we would start with the second season of the prequel from Game of Thrones, for example.

When is House of the Dragon season 2 coming?

Opposite to vulture tells Bloys: “Expected [die Staffel] not in 2023, I think more so sometime in 2024. We’re just beginning to lay out the plan and, as was the case last time, there’s a lot of unknowns. We don’t want to be secretive, but you don’t want to say it’s coming that day and then you have to postpone it.” The shooting of the first season has ten months availed as Hollywood reporters recently unveiled.

No more time jumps

While the first season jumped into the future several times – and with it the actors of several swap roles had to – should there be such jumps in the second season no longer give. According to showrunner Ryan Condal, the story is now about the “Dance of the Dragons” told. It’s supposed to at least three more seasons from House of the Dragon give. The cooperation was extended two weeks ago.
