Twitch streamer Trymacs shares what EA asked of him after he heavily criticized FIFA 23

Twitch streamer Trymacs reveals his insane Pay2Win spend - Comes to €80,000 in FIFA alone

The German Twitch streamer Trymacs revealed in a conversation with the streamer colleague Unge that EA wanted a clarification video from him after he heavily criticized FIFA 23.

Who is Trymacs?

What is Trymacs saying in the stream? In the conversation with Unge on October 21, 2022, Trymacs talks about the consequences of his criticism of FIFA and, above all, Ultimate Team’s gambling mechanics. According to Trymacs, he is now on EA’s “black list” and has lost all advertising deals with the publisher.

I lost all partners of EA for events […] I’m completely blacklisted. So what I’m doing is very, very much a thorn in EA’s side […] when I say it’s a children’s casino, it’s the most exaggerated rip-off and all that stuff.

“They asked me to make a video”

As the conversation continues, Trymacs reveals that EA asked him to make a video about the paid aspects of FIFA 23. According to Trymacs, EA wanted him to explain in a video that Ultimate Team is not about Pay2Win, but about Pay-to-Progress.

They asked me to make a video and that it’s not Pay2Win, it’s just Pay-to-Progress. You can also make progress with Free2Play and so on. It’s crazy how much the EA fucked up.

What does EA say about the situation? We have asked the FIFA developer for a statement, but have not yet received a response. As soon as EA comments, we will update this post.

What do you say on the subject? Do you classify Ultimate Team more as Pay2Win or Pay-to-Progress? Feel free to tell us in the comments!
