Modern Warfare 2 threatens trouble: Hotel manager from Amsterdam doesn't like seeing his hotel in the game

The Amsterdam level in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 quickly gained fan acclaim for its faithful representation of the city.

However, the hotel manager of the Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam is not quite so satisfied and is considering further steps against Activision and Infinity Ward.

Doesn’t match your values

In the game, the hotel is called Breenbergh, but hotel manager Roy Tomassen is bothered by the way the game is presented, which is reminiscent of the real hotel.

“We have noted that the Conservatorium Hotel was unwelcome [in einer] Scene of the new Call of Duty emerges… [und] we don’t support games that glorify the use of violence,” Tomassen told de Volksrant (via PC gamers).
