Tassilo Rau died unexpectedly on November 1st, 2019 at the age of only 44 years. You can find a detailed obituary for Tassilo Rau at GamersGlobal. Last year, on the second anniversary of his death, GG users sent Red on the platform Geocaching.com (international scavenger hunt) one trackable commemorative coin (Trackable) from Berlin towards the final resting place of Tassilo.

The coin finally arrived in Marienhagen (about 436 km as the crow flies) just before the third anniversary of the game developer’s death.
