WRC Generations: League mode introduced

WRC Generations is getting a new league mode! Here are the first details and a trailer.

NACON and KT Racing announce the new, competitive league mode for WRC Generations, which will be available in stores on November 3rd for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC and from December 1st also for Nintendo Switch.

Introduction to League mode
League mode is the main competitive game mode of WRC Generations. It is divided into Solo and Team categories: In Solo mode, placement on the leaderboard is determined by the points scored individually, with the total number of points scored by all in the team determining the team’s placement.

League mode is a cross-platform feature (excluding the Nintendo Switch) that involves achieving the highest rank within the different leagues:

• Legend (top division)
• master
• professional
• rookie
• Junior
• Beginners (unranked or for those demoted from Junior 3 League)

Each league is divided into three tiers. Each stage is in turn divided into groups of 30 individuals and 8 teams to allow for fair competition.

Seasons are divided into weeks, including a week-long qualifying phase and ten weeks of competition, featuring daily and weekly challenges. Anyone can participate in these to climb up their group leaderboard. Each week ends with a re-ranking where soloists and teams are repositioned according to their performance. This is how experience is gained, which can be used to unlock new customization items for the driver card and decals for the livery editor.

At the end of the season, the top three teams and individuals in the world are inducted into the league Hall of Fame.

challenges
In order to achieve the best time, there are three attempts for each challenge, and you can also train in warm-up mode. Challenges in solo and team mode are different.

The daily challenges are simple rallies under certain conditions that are renewed daily and added to the group score at the end of the day.

The weekly challenges, on the other hand, represent a complete rally that can be completed in multiple game sessions and is renewed every week. A car can be selected within a certain category. Measures such as repairs and tire selection are carried out in the service park. The points earned will be added to the group leaderboard at the end of each week.

The qualification stages are challenges that take place at the beginning of each season and are similar to a weekly challenge. The results from this determine the starting positions in the season.

Dates of the first seasons
Around WRC-To provide fans with a chance to familiarize themselves with the system, a two-week pre-season is scheduled for October 31st. The first season then officially begins on November 28, 2022.

With these new leagues wants KT Racing Long-term feature a new competitive mode where the best of the best compete for milliseconds to be inducted into the Hall of Fame at the end of each season. This mode is also designed to delight newcomers, who can compete in the rankings against opponents of the same strength and improve over time.
