Thrustmaster releases new Airbus Flight Stick for Xbox and PC

If you need a new flight stick, Thrustmaster might have just the thing for you.

Officially licensed by Airbus, the new TCA Sidestick X Airbus Edition is available today for Xbox and PC. The same applies to the TCA Captain Pack X Airbus Edition.

Accurate replicas

According to Thrustmaster, these are exact 1:1 scale replicas of the Airbus sidestick and quadrant (A320/A320neo type).

The TCA Sidestick X Airbus Edition is intended to pick up on the strengths of its predecessor, with the base being newly developed and equipped with an improved thrust lever. New pushbutton switches are also installed.

“Thanks to the new ecosystem hub integrated into the rear, the product offers simplified connectivity with software support for the TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition (with or without add-ons) and Thrustmaster rudder pedals, allowing just a single USB cable must be connected to the PC or the console,” it says. “This will make the entire TCA Airbus Edition Ecosystem compatible with the Xbox Series X|S.”

The TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition offers four axes and ergonomic, physical action buttons, which should be particularly helpful for approach and landing sequences. All in all, the devices should convey an authentic feeling of flying.
