Elden Ring: According to a leak, the next DLC could contain a PvP update
A dataminer claims to have found interesting details about the upcoming Elden Ring DLC. In addition to new bosses and a dungeon, it could finally introduce PvP.
There’s still something big in the game files
Twitter user @sekirodubi examined the game’s files and posted his finds on his channel.
On the one hand there should be a new area called “Underground Dungeon Ark”. This should have a new boss and 30 “boss flags”, i.e. theoretical space for the next 30 bosses. However, as Sekiro notes, that doesn’t mean that all of that space will already be used in this update or the ones to come.
So… in the section where boss flags are declared they left out room for 30 flags for DLC purposes. So, I’m not saying the DLCs are going to add 30 new bosses, but they made room for as many of those

Elden Ring v1.07 added 4 new parameters for 4 new Text Banners to be displayed on Screen. They match unused text from 1.0, as shown in the video. I believe they are related to Colosseums, suggesting Gauntlet form. 1.07 text just says “Enemy Defeated ” pic.twitter.com/XodKxn6ouk

According to the dataminer, Elden ring is also adding new text banners with patch 1.07. So there should be the messages “You Win”, “You Lose”, “Draw” and “Begin Match”, which for him indicates an upcoming PvP introduction. Competitive combat could then be related to the Coliseum arenas.
A new expansion hasn’t been officially announced yet, but who knows, maybe a wonderfully dark surprise awaits all Elden Ring players at the Game Awards on December 8, 2022.
