Kojima Productions: What Kojima Says About The Abandoned Rumors

For the first time, Hideo Kojima commented on the rumors about his participation in the horror game Abandoned.

The rumor mill said last year that Kojima Productions was involved in Abandoned, a horror game from indie developer Blue Box Games.

In the latest edition of his podcast “Brain Structure” he commented on the rumors and conspiracies for the first time.

Apparently, he was constantly receiving images from Hasan Kahraman, the game’s game director, which annoyed him.

“People kept sending me pictures of this ‘Hasan’. They keep sending me collages and deep fake pics about twenty a day, it’s really quite a nuisance. (laughs).”

A playable teaser was expected for Abandoned, which should finance the final game. But this has not been published to date.

The alleged collaboration between Kojima and Kahraman has come under more scrutiny from people. There was even a subreddit where you made connections that didn’t even exist. For example, Kahraman had previously worked on an app that featured the term “Personal Training (PT)”. Here you could see a connection to PT a playable teaser for Silent Hill.

When Kahraman played an unnamed game on his PlayStation, he used it to gain attention. He was probably just testing certified play.

Kojima further said that he has never spoken to Hasan and his game is not yet released. Maybe he should release the game so maybe people understand what it’s all about.
