Star Wars: New Clone Trooper helmet coming in 2023

toy manufacturer Hasbro brings under the detailed Star Wars: The Black Series a new clone trooper helmet on the market.

Under the name of Clone Trooper Helmet Phase II the merchandise item will be released in 2023 and can now be pre-ordered from some suppliers.

New helmet design inspired by Star Wars: The Clone Wars

For the visual design of the helmet, the team behind Hasbro drew on the clone trooper designs from the animated series Star Wars The Clone Wars oriented, which deals with the events between “Episode II – Attack of the Clones” and “Episode III – Revenge of the Sith”.

The series has ended with seven seasons. Shining since May 2021 Disney+ the sequel Star Wars: The Bad Batch out.

“Far superior to the battle droids, the clone troopers formed the backbone of the Republic’s new army, which fought against the Confederation of Independent Systems. They were of such symbolic importance at the time that the galaxy-spanning conflict in which they were first used was named after them: The Clone Wars.”

As the name “Phase II” suggests, it is an evolved form of armor during the second half of the clone wars. This later became the design for the Imperial Stormtroopers.

Connoisseurs of “The Black Series” will already know that the premium helmets are not just exhibits. Thanks to adjustable fit they are intended to be worn at conventions, for example.

The highlight of the Clone Trooper Helmet Phase II is the built-in electronic voice changers, which can be activated at the push of a button and rounds off the role-playing experience perfectly. (The necessary 1.5 V AAA battery must be purchased separately.)

When will the new Clone Trooper helmet be released, what will it cost and where can it be pre-ordered?

For the helmet there is still no specific delivery date. The release period has initially been roughly set at spring 2023 and varies depending on the provider between early and late Mayif a month is mentioned at all.

At the online shop Zavvi can the premium electronic helmet – as of today, November 06, 2022 – for 155.49 euros (plus shipping) available for pre-order. The dealer expects delivery in early May 2023.
