Hopefully better than Resident Evil: This series of games is becoming a Netflix series

A while ago we talked about the Resident Evil series on Netflix reported. While neither the cinemamovies, nor the quality of the Netflix series in the eyes of many, the next series for a video game brand has now been announced. Eventually, both a film adaptation and a Netflix animated series based on the Gears of War series officially confirmed by the platform. VG247 emphasizes that it is by far not the first attempt to transport the brand to the big screen or to the home screen in film form. About a project that still 2019 we had reported at the time. The interest of numerous companies and people in the brand is absolutely understandable. A franchise with science fiction elements, numerous titles and a large fan base sounds like a solid basis for a good, or at least successful film.

You don’t know anything specific

It is currently not known who exactly will produce the film, direct it, be responsible for the soundtrack or even appear in the film. However, this should not stop speculation about the possible cast. It is also currently unclear to what extent the plot will stick to the template. Although the streaming service’s press release mentions the scenario surrounding the Delta Squad, Marcus Fenix and the imminent collapse of civilization, but this does not answer how the eventual implementation will look like.
