Twitch streamer loses his FIFA 23 account
On Twitch, EliasN97 notices that his FIFA 23 account has been wiped out. Apparently scammers are making the rounds and gaining access to PlayStation accounts.
Berlin – EliasN97 is a Twitch streamer and has made a name for himself on the internet with the FIFA series. Now his account in FIFA 23 has been completely emptied. Scammers are currently gaining access to the PSN accounts of PlayStation players and are targeting the “FIFA 23” accounts. Another major FIFA content creator is reporting the same issue, which points to a major security vulnerability at Sony.
ingame.de shows how EliasN97 was hacked on PSN and lost all his progress on FIFA 23 as a result.
In order to show content on Twitch and YouTube, EliasN97 needs access to his progress. Huge sums of money can be spent in EA’s game. Also the Twitch streamer spent a lot of money in FIFA 23 to now see that everything is gone. This time the problem is probably not with EA, but with Sony.
