ArcRunner: Cyberpunk Roguelite Action Game Revealed

Cyberpunk action is coming your way! ArcRunner becomes a roguelite and takes place on a space station whose AI needs to be reset.

With an action-packed announcement trailer, publisher PQube announced the roguelite game ArcRunner for Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X. The entry is currently still “Coming Soon”.

The Arc is a massive space station with a problem: KORE, the station’s AI, has been infected by a meta-virus. The station thereby initiated the ArcRunner protocol, you must traverse the station, find and reset KORE. A challenge, because any robotic beings on the station are hostile and will hunt you down.

There are three classes: hacker, soldier and ninja. Each class has its own weapon or ability that reflects its advantages. So there is energy hammer, katana and shock blast attack.

On the way you should keep an eye out for new weapons, but you shouldn’t just rely on the strongest weapons, because weaker weapons can certainly give you a tactical advantage.

Nanites collected during the run are used for improvement, so that you have a better chance on the next run. The Autodoc allows you to equip your character with powerful augments, while the Cryochamber allows you to invest in metaprogression updates.

For friends of playing together there will be a three-player online multiplayer.
