Sonic Frontiers: Director sees the release as a "global playtest" and feedback is taken seriously

Sonic Frontiers still has some areas for improvement.

At least that’s what Sonic Frontiers’ director Morio Kishimoto says, comparing the game to a “global playtest” in a tweet.

Feedback is taken seriously

Maybe not the best comparison or choice of words for those who just put their hard-earned cash on the table and may be struggling or not that happy with it.

“I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you as we’ve been very busy since the release date,” he writes (via VGC).

More Sonic Frontiers news:

“I’m relieved that the release date has arrived and that [das Spiel] seems to have arrived safely for everyone.”

“We are in the process of evaluating the opinions of critics and players. As you have pointed out, there are still areas where we are not quite there and we will treat this as seriously as a global playtest.”

His last tweet up to that point was from shortly before publication. At the time, Kishimoto said Sonic Frontiers would change the game of Sonic and mark a “major milestone in the long history of Sonic games.”
