Meet the list of nominees for The Game Awards 2022

The list of nominees for the most anticipated awards by the community are here. God of War: Ragnarök is nominated for 10 awards, ahead of Elden Ring and Horizon: Forbidden West, which are up for seven awards.

Game of the Year nominees are A Plague Tale: Requiem, Elden Ring, God of War Ragnarök, Horizon: Forbidden West, Stray, and Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

This year’s event will feature the Best Adaptation award, a category to recognize creative work that authentically adapts video game intellectual property to other media. The nominees are Arcane: League of Legends, Cyberpunk Edgerunners, The Cuphead Show, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and Uncharted.

Featuring world premieres, musical performances and special guests, The Game Awards will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 8.
