TikToker woman smuggles her dead boyfriend’s ashes into adult toys
Security personnel at airports keep discovering items that are prohibited on flights. An Australian TikToker recently made a curious discovery.
Abu Dhabi – Social networks are known for unusual, attention-grabbing challenges. Some of these trends on apps like TikTok are also dangerous: there has already been a lawsuit against TikTok in the USA. In a rather curious scheme, an Australian user of the platform was recently caught at an airport in the United Arab Emirates: the 23-year-old student had tried to smuggle her deceased boyfriend’s ashes through security in an adult toy, according to the American tabloid New York Post reported.

Discussions with security personnel
The video with which the 23-year-old documented her project contained several million views on TikTok. But airport security arguably found the incident less entertaining. They suspected the object was a weapon and took the student aside.
This led to discussions between the staff and the 23-year-old. She explained to them what the object they noticed was – however, the men took offense at their language, the woman said, according to the New York Post.
TikTokerin: “I’ll be able to laugh about this for the rest of my life”
According to the 23-year-old, she was told a little later that she was not allowed to leave the airport for the time being. If she did, she would have to go to jail. The student had to call her father to get support from the Australian embassy. After a while they let her go. It is unclear whether she was allowed to keep the adult toy along with the ashes.
According to the 23-year-old, the adult toy was a funny gift from her friend who had died. “Honestly, that’s the funniest thing he’s ever done. I’ll be able to laugh about it for the rest of my life. It’s a lot better than crying,” she said.
