Star Wars: Crazy Fan Theory – are these characters the same person?

That Star Wars universe is so extensive and diverse that wild speculation and fan theories no longer represent anything special in and of themselves. Yet a current guess from the ranks of the community is definitely worth a closer look. Even if they at first may sound a bit absurd, there could be something to it. It’s about the question of whether two fundamentally different characters ultimately are one and the same person.

Star Wars: Andor as a trigger for speculation

According to a recent report by Inverse magazine, fan theory revolves around the two characters smoke such as Cinema Loy. The latter recently made an appearance in the series Star Wars: Andor and was there as a shift manager in one prison on Narkina 5 to see. At this point we speak a quick spoiler alert out, for those who haven’t seen episode 10 of the series yet.

At the end of the episode, the prisoners including Kino Loy succeed the escape from prison. However, the latter has to stop at the last moment, since he cannot swim and the prison is in the middle of the sea. While the other prisoners jump into the water and swim to the safe shore, he stays behind. What exactly happens to him is not yet known. His death can’t be seen anyway, so he could have survived.

Are Kino Loy and Snoke the same person?

At this point the fan speculationbe. Kino Loy and Snoke are both made by Actors Andy Serkis embodied. That fact alone makes some fans think it’s in the Star Wars universe too a connection between the characters could exist. According to their reasoning, after the breakout attempt, Loy could be captured by the Empire and used as a guinea pig for the Emperor Palpatine’s cloning experiments serve, from which ultimately Snoke emerges. But Andy Serkis personally pushes this theory at one Interview with the magazine “Jake’s Takes” a latch.
