Wanderful: Hamburg studio unveils leisurely world builder

It’sa Wanderful Life: Daedalic and Tiny Roar unveil charmingly laid-back worldbuilders full of wonder and adventure.

Developer Tiny Roar and publisher Daedalic Entertainment have teamed up and announced Wanderful, a new exploration game.

Partly weird, partly decelerating, but always relaxing, it’s about expanding the world by placing tiles and offering the inhabitants little adventures and big surprises. Wanderful will be coming to Steam Early Access at a later date.

Tiny Roar is always looking for new ways to tell stories through gameplay mechanics and interaction with game worlds and their inhabitants.

Wanderful is like a book full of such stories just waiting to be told. With each placed tile, a new page opens and a new adventure opens up for the little explorers who populate the world. Players create their own story framework and shape the world and experiences of the residents, tile by tile.

Wanderful is the perfect game to wind down and slow down. The sessions last between 5 and 30 minutes and invite you to enjoy the landscapes and watch the little explorers as they uncover mysteries.

Players build their unique story multiverse as fast or slow as they want. Strategic, creative, leisurely or on the hunt for your own high score: Thanks to the many biomes, tiles and wonders that can be unlocked, no two rounds are the same.
