With the launch of Pokémon Crimson and Crimson, numerous new monsters are coming to the Pokédex. You can find all 103 new Pokémon of the Paldea region here.

Tokyo – With the release of Pokémon Crimson and Crimson, fans’ eyes are once again on the Pokédex. With each new generation, Game Freak continues to expand the range of Pokémon and the two new parts are no exception. A whopping 103 new monsters appear in Crimson and Crimson, though you won’t see every one in every edition. We show you all the new Pokémon at a glance.

Pokémon Crimson and Crimson: All 103 new Generation 9 Pokémon

These Pokémon are new to Crimson and Crimson: The two new editions don’t skimp on fresh cuddly critters. Even before the release, Nintendo and Game Freak had introduced a number of new Pokémon, including the starter Pokémon Krokel, Kwaks and Felori and their developments. In addition to these three, another 100 other Pokémon have made it into the game, bringing the total number of new monsters to almost exactly 103. This is how the editions differ: That’s not all though, technically there are even more Pokémon in the new editions. There are more differences between Crimson and Crimson than in previous parts, and that affects the Pokémon as well. For example, Pokemon has a tradition of splitting up the legendary monsters in each edition. That’s also the case this time, in Crimson you can find Koraidon, while in Crimson only Miraidon appears as a catchable Pokémon.

Since Crimson is set in the past and Crimson is set in the future, the Pokémon also have a past and future version. But there are also more Pokémon that are exclusive to one of the two editions. These edition-exclusive Pokémon also include monsters from previous games. Pokémon Crimson and Crimson: Series has 900+ monsters total, less than half are in play

Here are the total number of Pokemon in play: Putting old and new Pokémon together, Crimson and Crimson add up to a pretty respectable total number of monsters. According to the Pokédex, a total of 400 appear in the Paldea region and can be caught in the game. Of course, these are not all Pokémon that have ever been introduced. The number of all Pokémon, added up from all generations, now amounts to over 900.
