Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Call Of Duty: Vanguard and others are nominated for the Grammy for Best Original Score

The year 2023 will mark the first ever Grammy for Music in Video Games, meaning one of the chosen games will go home with a historic award.

“Overlooked and underrated,” EA music president Steve Schnur explained in an interview with Variety. “Not just because of the level of quality, but also because of the magnitude of the success, how relevant it is to the next generation of music lovers. We needed to convince the powers that be that this music stands on its own and deserves to be judged against each other.”
