Grukenson98 did not appear on social media for a year. He probably spent this time in the gym, because YouTuber is hardly recognizable.

Bremen – Anyone who was on YouTube and TikTok between 2018 and 2021 will sooner or later come across Gurkensohn98. The man from Bremen has built up a certain status as a walking meme in recent years and caused a stir with his chaotic video ideas. Since April 2021, however, the content creator had disappeared without a trace, and his channels lay idle. Now Gurkensohn has come back surprisingly – and his transformation has made his fans and other YouTubers wide-eyed.

Bourgeois name Dennis Levin
Known as cucumber son98
birthday December 5, 1998
Place of birth Bremen
Subscribers (YouTube) 286,000 subscribers (as of November 2022)
Followers (TikTok) 487,700 followers (as of November 2022)

Gurkensohn: Disappeared since April 2021 – Suddenly his pumper comeback comes

What happened? Gurkensohn had made a name for himself with (the name suggests) videos about cucumbers since 2018 and ended up in the live streams of MontanaBlack and Unge, among others, who were always happy to react to his content. Dennis “Gurkensohn” Levin was able to secure an impressive 286,000 subscriptions to YouTube and now even has 487,700 followers on his TikTok account.

After the release of his music video for “Opel Corsa” it was over for the meme YouTuber. Almost from one day to the next, Gurkensohn disappeared from the Internet, and since April 2018 all of his social media channels have been idle. That was to change abruptly on November 13, 2022, when the YouTuber suddenly started a comeback on TikTok.

This is how Gurkensohn reports back: Gurkensohn is hardly recognizable in his TikTok. In his year of absence, the YouTuber was mainly drawn to the gym, in the clip he flexes properly with his current physique. The look is almost a little reminiscent of the AI photos that show Ban on Dance as a neon bodybuilder – just real instead of computer-generated.

Apparently, the cucumber son even became a bodybuilder, if you can believe the (probably rather ironic) hashtag under his video. On the other hand, Dennis did not say a word about his absence, in the video caption he only responded with a casual “Hello, hello, hello“.

Gurkensohn: The internet is celebrating the return of the meme YouTuber

How the internet reacts: With Gurkensohn’s TikTok clip, people are almost overjoyed at the YouTuber’s return. In less than 24 hours, the video has already received a whopping 3.2 million views and more than 200,000 likes. The comments showered the suddenly buffed returnee with compliments and praise, even ban on dancing switched on at the first sign of life from Gurkensohn.

  • Age like random – cucumber son comeback“ – Ban on dancing (Instagram story)
  • “… And he came back when humanity needed him most“ – Niki
  • Now we know what he has been doing for the last 1.5 years” – Turbo
  • This is called a glow up– Leonie’s Husband

Where the cucumber son has now given a first sign of life for over a year and a half, nothing seems to stand in the way of another comeback. In any case, the fans seem to be ready for more news from the meme YouTuber. Gurkensohn isn’t the only lost YouTuber making a return, though. UnsympathischTV also recently celebrated its comeback on YouTube, but its return was more accompanied by jokes and memes from its community.
