Neverwinter releases a Northdark Reaches video interview with RA Salvatore and Geno Salvatore.

To celebrate the recent launch of Neverwinter: Northdark Reaches and the beginning of the short-term only login event, The Way of the Drow, Cryptic Studios has announced that a new video interview with the writers of Neverwinter: Northdark Reaches is now available available on Neverwinter’s Youtube channel.

This new interview reveals how the Neverwinter team worked with New York Times bestselling author and creator of the Way of the Drow saga RA Salvatore and Geno Salvatore on the development of Northdark Reaches, now free on PC and consoles is available.

This interview gives a behind-the-scenes look at the development of the new expansion and even a preview of the content for the next expansion, which will be launched in 2023!

With the launch of Northdark Reaches, the latest expansion to Neverwinter inspired by the Way of the Drow book series, the D&D MMORPG has a gift for every drow fan as part of the Way of the Drow login event! Starting today, November 17th, until December 1st at 10:30 GMT, all players on PC, PlayStation and Xbox can log in and claim one of the following drow items* for themselves, including items found on the popular Character Drizzt Do’Urden based:

• Drizzt (companion)
• Hairstyle – Drizzt
• Hairstyle – Catti-Brie
• Race of renegade drow
• Epic Insignia Choice Pack

Players can only select one of these items. All items are account bound and cannot be traded.

Neverwinter’s 24th expansion, Northdark Reaches, is available now for free on PC (Arc Games, Epic Games Store and Steam), PlayStation and Xbox. The story is inspired by New York Times bestselling author R.A. Salvatore’s hit trilogy, The Way of the Drow. Northdark Reaches launches the first of a two-part campaign co-written with R.A. Salvatore and Geno Savatore.

This epic new adventure lets players and D&D fans relive the events that unfold between Starlight Enclave and Glacier’s Edge, the first two books of The Way of the Drow. For the first time, players will meet new fan favorites from the Forgotten Realms. These include the Mykonid Rumpadump, Saribel Xorlarrin Do’Urden, and Minolin Fey.
