One Piece Odyssey: Water Seven trailer looks at new features

Players can get a glimpse of the new features in One Piece Odyssey in the Water Seven trailer.

Bandai Namco Europe today unveiled a new trailer for One Piece Odyssey, giving a look at features like special attacks and the city of Water Seven the Straw Hat gang travels in their memories.

In One Piece Odyssey, players experience adventures in “Memoria”, the world of memories of the Straw Hat gang, some of which also take place in Water Seven. As they explore the city and the famous Galerie-La Company, they must face off against familiar opponents such as CP9 members Lucci and Kaku. A new dramatic One Piece adventure awaits players.

The new video also features the Bond Arts, powerful special attacks from three characters. Players unlock these by completing Memory Link Quests. Upon completing these tasks, these members of the Straw Hats will complete their patchy memories in “Memoria,” thereby strengthening their bond with one another.

The trailer also explains part of the training system, which allows you to improve skills and gain the upper hand in combat using dice found in various locations.

One Piece Odyssey is expected to be released on January 13, 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
