WoW Dragonflight: Pre-Event – Speed leveling with invasions!
- Once you are familiar with your character level 10 reached – which is conveniently the starting level for allied races – the quest appears automatically “The Dragon Isles Await”, which sends you to your faction capital. Play through the following few quests until you get the event start quests (“A Primal Threat” and “Storm Chasing”). After completing these quests, there is also a daily invasion quest that further Primeval Essences to buy from ilvl 252 gear granted at the event vendor.
- Now activate the following level aids with experience bonuses, if any: Heirloom Gear (Set), WoW birthday buff (18% XP bonus), Distillate of the ten countries (10% XP bonus up to and including level 49) and the scout cards (from the toy box) for Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms (unlocks all flight points there). Activates (from level 20) the war mode for more bonus XP, even as a hordler!
- Open your world map and locate it active elemental invasions. Then swing onto the air taxi and fly to the relevant zone. The invasions or the elements (fire, water, earth, air) change every few hours, but run non-stop.
- Each zone has multiple invasion points, but there is only one point at a time where a 3-phase event with final boss takes place. You can find out what it is and how long it is still active with a simple mouseover.
- Go to this main invasion point. Whether you join a group is up to you. the Elite mobs and the boss there, which give the most experience and which are your focus, are vulnerable to all players in the zone – regardless of whether a group attacked them first or not. If there is not enough activity in the zone and the mobs are falling too slowly, use (from level 50) the group search tool to search for farm groups on populated servers (e.g. “barrens xp farm wm on” on EU Kazzak).
- If you stay on the ball and are lucky with the number of players in the zone, you will reach level 50 after just a few hours and can pick up your traditional armor. With the hundreds Primeval Essenceswhich drop while farming the mobs, go to the event dealer after reaching level 60 and cover yourself completely ilvl 252 gear (armor, weapons and jewelry). There is no more comfortable and stylish way to start a new extension!
