buffedCast: #607 with Dracthyr Callers, WoW: Dragonflight and Blizzard’s End in China
The second part of the pre-patch for the upcoming expansion WoW: Dragonflight has been on the live servers for a good week and both Phil and Seb have mainly dealt with the pre-event and the new class of the caller. While one of the two is quite enthusiastic about the skills and especially their change over the course of the test period, the other had to realize that the Dracthyr are not allowed to decide between Horde and Alliance at the end of the introduction.
In addition, the two talk about some statements made by the developers in many interviews. Among other things, why the mythical and heroic start at the same time and why Mists of Pandaria is the frontier for the return of old dungeons. In addition, the two talk about the new philosophy of the developers, to exchange the carrot in front of the character’s nose for more twink friendliness.
In the end, of course, the end of Blizzard in China is also an issue. The Californian developer is ending cooperation with publisher Netease and is now looking for a new partner. As a foreign company, they are not allowed to publish their games themselves.
