AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT(X): Sapphire hints at new Nitro graphics card

from Norman Wittkopf
AMD’s new generation of graphics cards will appear in December in the form of the Radeon RX 7900 XT and XTX. Board partner Sapphire now offers a small preview of an in-house custom design from the Nitro series.

After Asus and Powercolor, among others, had already presented the first custom models of the Radeon RX 7900 XT(X), Sapphire, another board partner, is now indicating an in-house design of the new high-end graphics cards. There is a short video on Twitter of an unspecified card from the next generation of AMD.

It is not mentioned whether the teaser is about a Radeon RX 7900 XT or 7900 XTX, but it can be assumed that Sapphire uses the same cooler design for both GPUs in the custom version shown. However, the hashtags confirm that it is a model from the manufacturer’s Nitro series.

It seems noisy Videocardz.com to be a complete redesign of the manufacturer’s RX 6000 Nitro series and could possibly have been inspired by the exterior of AMD’s Radeon VII.
