If you want to buy a PS5 locally, you should take a look at your local GameStop. There are always occasional supplies there.

Update from November 21, 2022, 2:00 p.m.: After the recent online drop, things have gone quiet again for GameStop in terms of online sales. However, (depending on the location) something can still work locally. In short: if there is a GameStop branch around the corner from you, you can still try your luck right there. Locally you still have a good chance of getting the new “God of War” bundle in combination with other games.

Update from 11/16/2022, 11:55 a.m.: away to GameStop! The gaming chain is now queuing for a PS5 Disc Edition bundle with Gran Turismo 7 and Horizon Forbidden West. However, the console does not appear to be available as a one-off. By the way, the website seems to be very busy – don’t update the page yourself, it does it for you automatically.

Update from November 15, 2022, 3:20 p.m.: If you have a GameStop location near you, it might be worth stopping by today. According to reports, you can currently get the new “God of War” bundle in combination with other games locally in numerous (but not in all) GameStop branches.

Update from 11/12/2022, 08:52: If you want to hold the PS5 in your hands immediately after buying it, you can try your luck in one of the local GameStop branches today on Saturday (and also at the beginning of next week, i.e. from November 14th). We keep getting reports that retailers have the console in stock. However, these are usually very small contingents, so a little luck is part of it.

Update from 11/11/2022, 2:44 p.m.: Since yesterday there have been increasing reports that the new “God of War” bundle can currently be obtained locally in some GameStop branches – but apparently only with additional accessories or games. So if you have a GameStop branch near you and you are not deterred by additional purchases, then ask there on site. Maybe you’re lucky.

Update from 11/10/2022, 2:28 p.m.: According to isolated reports, you can currently be lucky in some GameStop branches (e.g. in Wolfsburg) and dust off the new “God of War” bundle locally – but apparently only as part of a larger overall package with additional accessories or games. So if you have a GameStop branch near you and don’t be put off by larger bundles, then ask there. Maybe you’re lucky.
