Callisto Protocol: System requirements – your PC must be that strong
You’ll be scared again soon! With The Callisto Protocol a spiritual Dead Space successor awaits us on December 2nd, which comes from the former developers. So far, the horror game looks very impressive. Striking Distance Studios has now updated the Steam entry for Callisto Protocol and thus also announced the system requirements for PCs.
Callisto Protocol: Your PC has to be that strong
As a minimum, you need an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600, 8 GB of RAM and either an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580. DirectX 11 is required and at least 75 GB of free storage space for the game. However, a Core i7-8700 or Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB RAM and GeForce GTX 1070 or Radeon RX 5700 with DirectX 12 is recommended. And of course the 75 GB memory. We still have to wait for the hardware details on ray tracing, 4K and all other ultra settings.

The Season Pass for the game was also recently unveiled, adding new modes, skins and death animations alongside new story content. But first comes the main game. The Callisto Protocol (buy now ) will be released on December 2nd for PC, Playstation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
The title is also released completely uncut in Germany. There won’t be that luxury, or even a release at all, in Japan. The game in the present version was rated as too unsuitable for the age classification there. But Striking Distance Studios don’t want to cut and change the game. You can read more about this here.
