Dead Island 2 will release exclusive gameplay in December, its creators confirm

Deep Silver and developer Dambuster Studios have announced when a special “reveal” gameplay trailer for Dead Island 2 will take place.

At the beginning of this year, Dead Island 2 it eventually resurfaced after being announced in 2014. Planned to release in early 2023, this reimagining of the idle post-apocalyptic game was only delivered via a computer-generated trailer. And while fans have been wondering what Dead Island 2 will be like to play, we now know when we’ll see more of the game in action.

On December 6 at 1:00 p.m. This live stream will feature the first gameplay we’ve seen from the project and will also highlight the ruined Los Angeles version of the game. There’s no word on how long the presentation will last, but it seems likely that Deep Silver will give fans a pretty substantial look at Dead Island 2’s combat.

“Do you want gore? Do you want action? Do you want gameplay? We know so,” said Deep Silver’s preview for this event. “Watch the Dead Island 2 Showcase for an exclusive reveal of the game, showcased through a thrilling live-action cinematic shot.”

While it’s exciting to finally know when we’ll be able to see more of Dead Island 2, there hasn’t been any good news associated with the project of late. Last week, Deep Silver recently revealed that it would be pushing the title back from its February 2023 release date to April 28, 2023.

Dead Island 2 It will launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2023.
